Achieve: The Family Learns to Cook

Yesterday was the international celebration of #MenMakeDinnerDay, which made us realise just how many women are desperate to enjoy a glass of wine while the spouse cooks a nice meal without charcoal.

But it isn’t just the spouses, many of us are worried about our teens being able to feed themselves on their own, perhaps at uni or living away from home.

To ensure full and happy tummies all around, we are delighted to announce a series of classes taught by the absolutely fabulous professional chef Flora from her beautiful farmhouse in Hampshire which are tailored specifically to men and teens.

Man Enough to Cook

Man Enough To Cook

Learn some awesome new skills such as how to joint a chicken, easily remove skin from fish, perfectly roast meat and knock up some sensational sauces too. In the past we’ve made everything from slow roasted pork belly with crispy crackling to sushi rolls to mini lemon tarts. Ingredients are seasonal but do contact us to find out the menu of the day.

No previous experience required! Includes lunch some drinks and recipes to take home.

Teens Cooking

Forget teenage fads and fashions, cool kids these days want to impress with some serious culinary prowess! Of course teenagers can already teach their parents a few tricks – namely about social media, technology and which current brand of trainers to wear (or not!), but now how about showing the oldies a thing or two with some home-made sushi, a perfect paella or scrumptious tarte tatin? Includes something to take home for the kids’ supper.

This course will be running mostly over holidays and half-terms from school, and there will be a choice of Asian, Spanish or Italian cuisine. Contact us for more information: hello@barnesclass.co.uk.
